COSMO ALEXANDRE made a successful first defence of the It's Showtime 77kg title by stopping Csaba
Györfy in a round in the Hungarian capital Budapest.
Alexandre took the belt on a cut eye stoppage from
Belarussian veteran Dmitry Shakuta in Milan last month and repeated the trick as Györfy was unable to continue after
being sliced open by one of the Brazilian's jumping knees (pictured above).
Alexandre topped off a quartet
of wins for Amsterdam trainer Mike Passenier, with his fighters Murthel Groenhart, Bjorn Bregy and Arafat Iallouchen also
victorious.
Super middleweight Groenhart blitzed Amir Zeyada in a round in February and did not have
to travel the distance again as he stopped Daniel Géczi.
Swiss giant Bregy outpointed Wendell
Roche, while Iallouchen outpointed Barnabas Szucs in his first fight for over two years.
Anderson Braddock
Silva and Attila Karacs joined Bregy in heavyweight victory.
Fighting a day after his 24th birthday,
Brazil's Silva rebounded from a points defeat to Adnan Redzovic in his last fight as he celebrated with a decision
over Tihamer Brunner from the host nation.
Karacs gave the home crowd something to shout about on the 40th
It's Showtime event - the Hungarian Allstars in association with K3 - however as he pipped Bosnia's Redzovic
by close extra round decision.
